Paul Barnes’s Weekly Update on What’s Happening

This week at CCA, Oppenheimer continues its successful run! And I’m holding over the “mockumentary” Theater Camp, which seems to be steadily building its audience.

Meridel Rubenstein’s Critical Mass exhibit continues to attract attention to the Visual Arts side of CCA. Meridel conducted a wonderful “walk through” of the exhibit this past Sunday to a crowd of about 100 enthusiastic people!

And next Tuesday, August 15, CCA will host a Special Screening of local Santa Fe filmmaker Adam Horowitz’s Nuclear Savage, a damning documentary about the US government’s devastating nuclear tests in the Pacific Islands and Atomic Gods, yet another comic “mockumentary” – but this one a satiric portrait of Oppenheimer.
